Can I Cook on top of High Heat within the Slow Cooker?

High warm (up) cooking is not recommend here, the dispute won’t be present as loving so branch in the company of little and slow.

  • 3 - 4 chipotle chilies within adobo*
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 Tbsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  1. Cut cook into 6 portions at the same time as removing a scrap of large pieces on fat. Heat 1 Tbsp vegetable oil within a skillet. 

  2. Dab cook dry in the company of newspaper towels, season in the company of salt and pepper (about 1 tsp salt 3/4 tsp pepper). Add 3 pieces to skillet and burn until browned on top of all sides. Transfer to a sluggish cooker.

  3. Add remaining 1 Tbsp vegetable oil to skillet and reiterate process in the company of remaining 3 cook pieces. Nestle dispute portions side by side within an even film within sluggish cooker.
